Looking for compelling videos that educate people on the importance of early detection and getting screened for one or all of the following cancers: Breast Cancer, Colon Cancer or Skin Cancer. Your video can focus on one cancer or can be of a general nature to encourage people to get screened for all three of these cancers.
You might want to do a little homework before creating your video about early detection. Click here for some facts you may or may not include. It’s up to you!
Must be able to show valid government issued identification if requested. Must be 18 years of age for Parental Discretion prizes. Sign a waiver of liability and loyalty form if requested.
The deadline for all entries is December 31, 2009, at midnight PST.
The videos may include any or all of the following messages:
- Encouraging someone in your family to get tested
- Why you thought or think it is important to get tested
- The importance of early detection
- Your New Years resolution to get screened
- Asking your doctor if you should be tested or if you are at the age to be tested for colon cancer or breast cancer and how often.
An anonymous panel of judges from New Northwest Broadcasters and sponsors will select the top 3 videos on or around January 15th, 2010.
The creator of the first place winning video will receive $2500.
The creator of the second place winning video will receive a 3 day Oregon Coast getaway
Third place winning video will receive a $250 gift card.
